Another inspiring woman I had the privelege of analyzing is the unforgettable Rossana Redondo.

A former Miss Colombia as well as electrical engineer, she combines stunning beauty with formidable intelligence. Over 14 years ago she founded a charitable foundation and her brand Sol Azul in order to help the indigenous women , particularly the Wayuu in La Guajira and the Los Arhuacos in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. These women live in remote and sometimes desert communities where even the most basic necessities such as water are a precious and difficult to obtain resource. Thanks to the production of Sol Azul handbags, all of which are made by hand, the ancestral weaving traditions of these communities are maintained and because they also provide a livelihood for their makers, weaving has even taken on a certain prestige within the communities. Some bags take up to a month to make, and the artisans create the patterns entirely from their own rich creative traditions without even referring to photographic or other visual references.
Rossana ia always impeccably groomed but she was intrigued by seasonal color analysis because she wanted to understand why the drawer of red lipsticks she had a home was collecting dust and why she found them overpowering… thanks to her seasonal colour analysis not only did she understand why the reds she had at home didn’t flatter her (they were reds from the high contrast spring season, and Rossana is a Deep Autumn) , but we also found her several shades of perfect reds for her unique complexion and she left looking even more dazzling than when she arrived.
