It was an absolute joy to perform a seasonal color analysis on the beautiful, beatific and brilliant Helen Bannigan. Helen is a fascinating woman of great depth and many talents. As founder and head of Bannigan Communications, she is an accomplished global leadership coach and cross-cultural consultant with a rich tapestry of experiences. Having grown up in the United States, Helen studied at the Sorbonne and graduated from one of France’s prestigious Grandes Écoles. Over the years, she has immersed herself in various cultures, having lived in Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Hong Kong. She certainly has experienced firsthand the challenges and complexities of living and working abroad.
Currently she divides her time between London and Rome and this spring, Helen is launching an exciting new venture at The Gratitude Spot, her property nestled in the Sabina countryside just outside of Rome. Here, she’ll be offering wellness retreats and guided experiences in forest bathing, in which she is a certified practitioner.
The journeys she has had across various countries have bequeathed her with valuable insights on life and cross-cultural experiences . When asked about her top tips for clients preparing for a move to a different culture, Helen shared three key principles:
1)Assume good will from the people you encounter.
2) Strive to view the world from alternative points of view.
3)Enjoy the ride and live your joy.
Her advice is full of wisdom, and I love how it applies beyond just navigating new cultures- also a beautiful philosophy for all of us this in search for fulfillment in the greater adventure of Life.
